Setup for printing from Mac computer to Hartke Building printer.

Follow the directions below.
Go to this website:

Find your MAC version

    Click on the apple icon at the top left of your screen and click “about this MAC “

    Note the version: example 10.10.X

Download and install the driver on your MAC.

     Go to Konica Minolta’s Driver web site: http://onyxweb.mykonicaminolta.com/OneStopProductSupport?appMode=Public

     In the quick search bar, Type in the copier model c360i and select bizhub c360i

     In the center, click drivers

     Under OS, click your MAC version

     Click the newest driver that has letter.zip at the end and download it.

     Open the .pkg file to install the driver on your MAC’s hard drive.

     Select continue 3 times, agree, continue, install, enter your MAC password to install, install software

     This should give “the installation was successful“select close.

Add the printer

     Click the apple icon at the top left and open system preferences. Click printers and scanners.

     Click the “+ “button at the bottom of the printer list

     Click “IP “[ICON AT THE TOP]

     Fill in the following:

     Address: The copier IP address:    192.168.1.30   To verify the IP address, at the copier, select the house icon > Utility >device information > The IP address is listed as the IPV4 address.

     Protocol:    Line Printer Daemon LPD

      Print Queue: Leave blank

      Name:    Name of the copier

     Use: Select the drop down and click select software. Find the Konica Minolta model #PS print driver for your copier model. Example: Konica Minolta c360i PS

          Click add and continue.

     Fill in the following: These options are listed on the installation form from the original install.

     Paper source:   PC-216

     Finisher:   FS-539

     Punch Unit:

     Click OK.

You should now be able to print unless you have account codes set up on the copier.

Set up Printing Defaults:

     Open an application such as Word and choose File and Print.

     I recommend using Word.

     From Word, select the drop down “copies and pages” and choose “output method “[NOTE: DO NOT SELECT USER AUTHENTICATION OR ACCOUNT TRACK]

     CHECK THE BOX THAT SAYS SAVE SETTINGS BEFORE YOU CLICK OK.

   Double sided and color is default!!  So, you likely want to set 1 sided and greyscale as default.  (You can always change to double sided or color from your settings on an individual print job.)

     Under output method, select layout / finish. Under print

     Type, choose 1 sided.

     From the drop down, choose “Quality” and choose grey scale.

     GO to presets and save the current settings as a new preset. Name it.  When printing with the preset it will use the password that was saved.

   You should now be able to print.
